Locomotive Nameplate BUCKLEBURY GRANGE. Ex GWR 4-6-0 locomotive, built Swindon in September 1936, latterly numbered 6803. Initially allocated to Oxley later Stourbridge and Banbury only to end up at Oxley again. Withdrawn September 1965 and scrapped at Bird's, Long Marston. A wonderful sounding name, the nameplate is in ex loco and comes with original Swindon receipt. Note that Bucklebury is the family home of Kate Middleton so very much in vogue with the Royal Wedding in our thoughts.
