LNWR mahogany cased 4.25in dial mantel railway clock. The ached top case with brass carry handle and brass feet is in excellent condition and has its original LNWR enamel numberplate 4553 fixed to the rear. The bottom of the case is also stamped 4553. The case measures 9in tall x 7in wide x 5in deep. The enamelled convex dial is lettered L&NWR in a scroll style. The French manufactured pendulum movement by Japy Frere CIE is in good clean working condition. The LMSR clock records show this clock as being located at Euston Electrical Engineers Office, Superintendent Marine Engineer, Planning Officer Stoke, and Euston House. In full working condition complete with pendulum and key and original DR D.R.Parr sale paperwork dated 1991.
