LNER Wooden Telegraph Instruments, a rare pair, from Banchory. Both are identical although one is clearly stamped 'L&NER' on the rear, but considered earlier and of significant scarcity. Each has a brass plate engraved with the number '13'. Front tray with spike for notepaper, with the sending handle beneath, having a green painted dial with a number of alphabet letters on the left and right of the needle. Additionally, a spare indicator in a purpose built wooden box accompanies. The box is marked on the inside lid 'Spare Coil Banchory
