LNER 9x5 Works Numberplate brass strip 65782. Ex NER class J27 built Darlington April 1906 and originally numbered 836. Became 5782 in 1946 and shortly afterwards, by BR in June 1948, to 65782. Allocations include York and West Hartlepool. Withdrawn from service in November 1961.
