Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway 12in dial mahogany cased railway clock with a spun brass bezel and a gut driven English fusee movement with rectangular screwed plates stamped W&H SCH which stands for Winterhalder & Hofmeier of Schwarzenbach Germany. The original dial is lettered JOHN AGAR BOLTON LYR 1768 and the case has one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass turn. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key. A rare version of this maker with the later Bolton address, circa 1910.
