Industrial Nameplate ABERNANT. Ex Manning Wardle 0-6-0ST built 1921 and numbered 2015. Records show in 1927 it was at Cardiff Corporation Water Department, Llwynon Reservoir construction at Cefn Coed, Brecknockshire for Thomas Ward. Later to the Austin Factory at Longbridge from where the plate was obtained before being sent to J.Cashmore at Great Bridge. Rescued and sent to Newdigate Childrens Park in Birmingham in February 1964.Plate measures approx 41 x 7 and the face has been restored, back totally ex loco.
