Industrial Locomotive Nameplate VIOLET. Ex Nasmyth Wilson 852/1908 0-6-0 ST originally belonged to Manchester Collieries Ltd and became National Coal Board property 1/1/1947. It was used by the NCB on the Gin Railways at Tyldesley and at Chanters Colliery, Tyldesley from whence it went to Walkden Central Engineering Workshops in 1962. It was scrapped on site there 1/1967.
