It worked for the NCB at various locations - Chanters Colliery, Tyldesley; Wheatsheaf Colliery, Pendlebury; Parsonage Colliery, Leigh; Howe Bridge Colliery, Atherton; Gin Railways, Tyldesley; Bedford Colliery, Leigh. It was scrapped on site at Bedford Colliery 8/1966.
