Highland Railway 14in dial mahogany cased regulator railway wall clock. The rectangular plated movement has shaped shoulders, six spoke wheels, deadbeat escapement, Harrisons maintaining power , a gut line and a wooden pendulum rod with a brass cased bob and is in good clean condition. The original dial which has been lightly restored displays the makers name P.G. WILSON INVERNESS who were one of the main suppliers of clocks to the Highland Railway Company. The mahogany case is in nicely restored condition and stands 65in tall. A superb example In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum, key and weight. Note there is an identical clock to this one now on display at the Strathspey Railway Boat of Garten station.
