GWR Nameplate TWINEHAM COURT. Ex GWR 4-6-0 Passenger Locomotive numbered 2952, built Swindon Works in March 1913. First shed allocation was Cardiff Canton. Outside steam pipes fitted May 1932. In August 1950 its final allocation was Severn Tunnel Junction from where withdrawal took place in September 1951. Only 25 of the 'Saint Class' locos were named after Courts and only a handful have ever come to market. This particular one has been with the same, ex Severn Tunnel Junction Driver, since purchased from BR. Interestingly, Twineham Court is outside GWR territory being near Burgess Hill in Surrey.
