GWR mahogany cased 14 inch fusee clock. The movement has rectangular plates with turned shaped pillars and the wooden surround is a one piece turning with a black painted bezel. The back box has two side doors a rear opening door and a bottom door with the lock removed and replaced with the GWR ball catch and knob modification. An ivorine numberplate GWR 701 is screwed onto the left hand side of the case. The dial has been repainted post 1948 BR-W. A rare clock dating from around 1870, complete and in working condition, with pendulum and key. Ex Henwick Station Worcester.
