GWR Mahogany cased 12 drop dial trunk English fusee clock. The chain driven fusee movement which has recently been cleaned and oiled has rectangular plates with shaped shoulders and ringed and barrelled pillars. The original dial bears the writing BR-W. and the excellent quality flame mahogany case with an eight piece segmented surround is in original condition and has an Ivorine numberplate fixed to it G.W.R. 1285 . A nice example of these popular clocks and apparently originates from Round Oak Station in the Black Country. Complete with pendulum and Key. Circa 1870
