GWR Jigsaw 'London Highways' manufactured by Chad Valley in Carter Paterson box. Depicts a Claude Buckle interpretation of a view across the River Thames looking north-east to the City and Tower Bridge. A Carter Paterson van together with 3 London buses is crossing the bridge and an aeroplane can be seen above. Introduced in 1934 and withdrawn 1936. Unlike this example, the later, version, 'London Bridge' did not have the aeroplane in the view. Made up on card to show completeness and comes with original, book type box which is in reasonable condition, having the 'CP' label on the spine.
