GWR Cast Iron Builders Plate which states G.W.R. MAKERS. SWINDON. 1893. Rectangular shaped with raised border. Face restored white lettering on black background. Quite possibly a Crane Plate and a rare opportunity to acquire a plate with GWR as the Makers and such an early 19th century date.
