GWR brass Tenderplate number 1693. This 5000 gallon tender was built at Swindon in Sept 1906 being the penultimate one built to William Dean's design. It ran behind Bulldog 3341 BLASIUS, City Class 3710 CITY OF BATH and Bird Class 3448 KINGFISHER. At other times, it was also paired with also paired with a few Dean Goods and Collett 0-6-0 locos. Allocated in various guises at Banbury and Tyseley, it was withdrawn in 1959 from Worcester or Oxford. In excellent polished condition. An excellent data sheet compiled by the late Bill Peto, accompanies the lot.
