GWR Brass Cabside numberplate 4224 Ex GWR 2-8-0T built at Swindon in November 1913 and allocated to Newport. Last GWR shed was Ebbw Junction and stayed in South Wales throughout being withdrawn in February 1959 from Tondu. Brass construction, the engine class and boiler details being clearly stamped in the rim. Good, polished condition.
