GWR 12in dial wall mounted oak longcase clock with a GWR ivorine numberplate 1430 screwed to the inside of the case. The weight driven movement has rectangular plates with an extra shaft that would have originally driven a slave dial. The pendulum rod is of the flat steel type with a circular brass bob. A rare GWR clock probably supplied by J.B.Joyce of Whitchurch circa 1870. In good working condition complete with pendulum, weight and key.
