Great Western Railway mahogany cased drop dial 14 inch fusee clock lettered on the dial G.W.R with. With a large rectangular plated English fusee movement stamped on the backplate 9943 in cleaned condition and with its original steel pendulum rod. The Mahogany case has a one piece turned surround with the bezel lock removed, one side door and a bottom door secured with a lock, the GWR ivorine clock numberplate GWR 1054 is screwed to the front. The characteristic of this clock point to it being supplied to the GWR by John Walker of London. In working condition complete with pendulum and key. Circa 1870.
