Great Western Railway brass Ticket Office sign which reads GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY PASSENGERS ARE REQUESTED TO EXAMINE THEIR TICKETS AND CHANGE BEFORE LEAVING THE BOOKING OFFICE AS NO MISTAKES CAN AFTERWARDS BE RECOGNISED. This sign was removed from one of the two Booking Office Excursion windows at Birmingham Snow Hill around 1967. Hand engraved brass in excellent condition measures 22.5in x 7in. Possibly a sole survivor.
