Great Western Railway brass cabside numberplate 1709 ex Dean 0-6-0PT built at Swindon works in 1891 as a Saddle tank then rebuilt as a Pannier tank in 1913. Allocated to Newport Pill from where it was withdrawn in November 1950 and scrapped. In nicely restored condition with boiler and class details stamped in the rim.
