Great Western Railway 14in Pine cased wall mounted Railway clock. The weight driven movement has rectangular plates with a steel pendulum rod and a circular brass bob. The Pine wall mounted case would have originally been painted and the original paint is still visible inside. The GWR ivorine clock numberplate 434 is screwed onto the front of the case and the dial has been restored to a high standard. A rare GWR clock in good working condition complete with pendulum, weight and key, stands 48in tall. The GWR clock winding records show this clock as located at Swindon works Oil stores and it was wound every Tuesday morning. Circa 1860-70.
