Great Western Railway 14 inch mahogany cased fusee drop dial clock supplied in the early part of the 20th century by Stockall, Marples & Co Ltd. The chain driven fusee movement with Harrisons maintaining power was overhauled by Dr Parr and has the trademark Stockmar logo and their production number 1556 stamped on the backplate. The Mahogany drop dial case is in excellent condition and looks stunning the GWR ivorine numberplate 3040 is screwed onto the left hand side of the box, these 14 inch drop dials are very rare and this one features in Ian Lyman
