Great Western Railway 12 inch mahogany cased drop dial trunk fusee railway clock with a spun brass bezel supplied to the GWR circa 1900 by Kay's Worcester. The chain driven English fusee movement with rectangular plates and turned screwed pillars is in cleaned condition. The mahogany case with a four piece segmented wooden surround, two side access doors and a bottom door with the lock removed is good solid condition with some veneer loss. The original dial lettered BR-W in ghost has been partly restored with the letters GWR and also on the back is the GWR clock number 1891 in pencil and has a spun brass bezel. In good working order and checked for accuracy complete with pendulum but no key. A Nice project which requires a 4.75mm key which are readily available for around
