Great Western Railway 12 inch mahogany cased drop dial trunk fusee railway clock with a chain driven English fusee movement with shaped shoulders and turned pillars, segmented wooden surround, two side access doors and a bottom door with the lock removed and replaced with the standard GWR ball bearing catch. The GWR ivorine clock numberplate GWR 104 is screwed to the front of the case. The dial has been repainted at the GWR Clock works Reading post 1949 and displays BR-W. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key, the pendulum is also stamped GWR which is an unusual feature. Believed to have been last in use at Cardiff Queen street. Circa 1870.
