Great Western Railway 12 inch mahogany cased drop dial trunk fusee railway clock with a chain driven English fusee movement with shaped shoulders and turned pillars. The mahogany trunk case with lenticle window has a segmented wooden surround, two side access doors and a bottom door with the lock removed and replaced with a brass turn. The GWR ivorine clock numberplate GWR 2178 is screwed to the left hand side of the case. The dial is in original condition with GWR in the block style. Circa 1870-80, in working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key.
