Great Western Railway 12 inch mahogany cased drop dial fusee railway clock with a very early fusee movement with curved tops to the plates and ringed pillars and a steel rod pendulum. The case has a one piece wooden surround, two side access doors and a bottom door with a lock (key missing) the bottom of the case has lost its original veneer and the GWR ivorine clock numberplate GWR 79 is screwed to the front of the drop. The original dial has GWR in block style and KAY & CO makers ghosted at the bottom. A superb example in excellent restored working condition complete with pendulum and key. Circa 1860, originates from Barry Goods yard signal box.
