Great Western cast aluminium Coat of Arms fitted to Crewe built Class 47 number 47628 under the nameplate SIR DANIEL GOOCH when the cast brass style name and number plates were fitted 16th May 1985. The loco, originally D1663 entered traffic in 1965 and was named on 8th May 1965 at Paddington. It became 47078 in 1974 and then 47628 in January 1985. Withdrawn then cut up at Ron Hull Jr, Rotherham in 2006. It is stamped
