Great Northern Railway Southern C/I oval Turnout Plate number 1. Turnout Plates don't come better than this one because it is embossed at the bottom G.N.R.S and it originated from Kings Cross Station. The Vendor only cleaned this a while ago and then restored it. He said it had so many layers of paint that you couldn't make out the GNRS at the bottom. What a pity it was cleaned but it is still from that famous location, reputedly adjacent to the footbridge, witness to goodness knows what over the years.
