Great Northern Railway engraved Worksplate No 1343 Doncaster 1912. Ex 0-4-2T N1 Class Locomotive. Introduced in June 1912 to work London suburban trains having been fitted with condensing gear. This was removed in 1942 when it was transferred to the West Riding area. Became BR number 69478 in 1949 and survived until December 1956. A lovely plate having the rear stamped 4598 and also deeply scratched with the original number 1598.
