Great Eastern Railway floor standing mahogany cased clock. The 9 inch silvered wax filled dial has G.E.R and seconds marked and has moon shaped hands and centre seconds. The weight driven Lenzkirch movement has 5 spoke wheels, adjustable pallets and beat adjustment is in good clean condition. Housed in and ornate mahogany case with bevelled glass and enamel beat plate inside which is in very good condition. Stands 80in tall which can be split to 60in and 20in for transport x 24in wide at the base and 12in deep. A truly stunning clock restored and supplied by Dr DR Parr in 1994 and probably used at one of the Great Eastern Railway hotels. In working condition but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum, weight and keys.
