Great Eastern Railway 6inch Mahogany cased Fusee Bracket clock manufactured for the G.E.R. by Bevan of Tottenham London circa 1880. The English chain driven fusee movement has rectangular snailed plates and the dial is written GER and retains its original cast brass bezel with a keyed lock and the Gothic style case has a glazed rear door and clock number 907 chalked in the back. The L.N.E.R. records show that this clock was used at Liverpool Street Station Land Agent, Inner Office, Hamilton Buildings. A rare and unusual Railway timepiece used by senior employees, complete with pendulum and keys and in working condition, stands 15in tall.
