Great Eastern Railway 6 Fusee Bracket clock by Bevan of Tottenham, London circa 1890. This Important clock is in the more ornate Gothic Mahogany case with a glazed rear door and extra detail to the carving on the front of the case, as supplied to the more Senior officers of the company. The dial reads BR 777 and the rear shows instructions not to paint this with 24 Hour numerals. The Chain driven fusee movement has snailed plates and is fully restored and working condition. An ivorine plate 777 is attached to the inside of the rear door. The LNER clock records show that this clock was located at Kings Cross Station, Chief of Stores Hadley Wood. A rare clock in fully working condition , complete with 2 keys and a pendulum.
