Great Eastern Railway 16 inch mahogany cased fusee railway clock. Original dial lettered BR 469 with a false dial fitted with original style GER lettering. The chain driven fusee movement is stamped GER and is in overhauled condition. The mahogany case retains its original cast bezel and has the GER ivorine numberplate 469 screwed onto the right hand side door. This clock was supplied and restored by Dr D. R. Parr and the case retains its supply label. In working condition complete with pendulum and keys. The LNER clock records show this clock as being last in service at Brentwood and Warley Station on the Up platform.
