East African Railways Beyer Peacock built Garratt-type class 55 locomotive brass cab identity/history plate. The plate measuring 6in x 4in shows the loco number 868 went to the Burma Railway in January 1947 and hired to the UK War Department with number 74328. It was subsequently transferred to the Tanganyika Railway as a GB class. An historic item. Together with 5 brass letters 8.5in tall comprising: E&RHH, quite possibly ex East African Railways.
