Diesel worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO LTD VULCAN WORKS NEWTON-LE-WILLOWS ENGLAND No 3418/ D876 1963 ex British Railways Diesel Class 37 originally numbered D6932 then 37232 in 1974. Allocated new to 87E Landore and named The Institution of Railway Signal Engineers in 1990. Withdrawn in December 1999 and scrapped. Rectangular chromed cast brass measures 10in x 4.5in. Has been cleaned but still shows traces of BR blue paint on the front and edges, slight damage to the right hand bottom corner.
