Diesel worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO LTD VULCAN WORKS NEWTON-LE-WILLOWS ENGLAND No 3410/ D868 1963 ex British Railways Diesel Class 37 originally numbered D6924 then 37224 in 1974 and 37680 in 1987. Allocated new to 87E Landore and withdrawn in December 2000 and scrapped. Rectangular chromed cast brass measures 10in x 4.5in. Has been cleaned but still shows traces of BR blue paint on the front and edges.
