Diesel nameplate badge off Deltic D9004 / 55004 QUEENS OWN HIGHLANDER. Built at English Electric Vulcan Foundry and entered traffic 18.05.61. Named including regimental badge 23rd May 1964 at Inverness station and badges removed November 1979 with nameplates removed on withdrawal October 1981. Cast brass originally chromed although most of this has worn off. Cleaned condition with small traces of chrome and blue paint on the back. Measures 8.5in x 11.5in.
