Deltic Flamecut Cabside 55014 ex THE DUKE OF WELLINGTON'S REGIMENT. Built by the English Electric Company under works number 2919/D571 in September 1961 and allocated to Gateshead. Named in October 1963 at Darlington station by Major General KG Exham, Colonel of the Regiment. Scrapped at BREL Doncaster in February 1982. The York crest transfer has only a small amount remaining but the numerals and the data panel are extremely good and there is a small yellow triangle at the bottom, evidentially carried by only one other of the class. Measures 32in x 34in.
