Cornish Oak Truncheon with cylindrical surmount decorated in yellow on a black ground. Inscribed 'V.R. St. Blazey 1842' and bearing the Arms of the Duchy Of Cornwall. Plain wood handle. Note. St. Blazey is in the Hundred Of Powder and close to St. Austell, famous in later years to railway collectors for the much loved Motive Power Depot.
