Commemorative medal issued July 16th 1885 for the opening of the Hull Barnsley & West Riding Junction Railway & Dock Company, opened by Lt Col Gerrard Smith MP and Chairman of the Company. Together with a similar from the London & Greenwich Railway company. Both are in good condition and measure 1.125in diameter.
