Cockermouth and Workington Railway 12 inch dial oak cased fusee clock supplied to the C&WR by Robert Sutton of Whitehaven. The rectangular plated chain driven fusee movement has turned pillars and is stamped 971 in the backplate. The oak case has a four piece turned surround back box with one side door and a bottom door secured by a brass turn. The original dial is lettered C&WR SUTTON WHITEHAVEN. In working condition complete with pendulum and key. A rare clock that has retained its pre grouping dial writing.
