Cabside Numberplate 9629, C/I construction. Ex GWR 0-6-0PT built Swindon December 1945 and allocated to Cardiff until 1952. It moved to Exeter and remained there until re-allocation once more to Oswestry in 1962. Withdrawn from Pontypool Road in October 1964, the loco then spent many years outside the Holiday Inn, latterly the Marriott Hotel in Cardiff, before being donated by Marriott Hotels to the Pontypool & Blaenavon Locomotive Group. Has been face restored and wrongly lined, the back is unrestored and rusty.
