Cabside Numberplate 5035. Ex GWR 4-6-0 'Castle Class' locomotive COITY CASTLE, built Swindon in May 1935. Initially allocated to Cardiff to work South Wales expresses. Very quickly sent to Wolverhampton Stafford Road and after a few years, it moved to Old Oak Common for pretty well the rest of its working days with the exception of the last couple of years at Swindon. Withdrawal came in May 1962 and it was cut up by Cashmore's Newport in December of that year. A couple of photographs and the Bill Peto history sheet accompanies.
