A pair of Ships Lanterns. The first is a substantial lamp bearing the makers plate 'Wm Harvie & Co 121 Bishop St., Birmingham'. There is also a separate numberplate stamped 11445 and a further plate beneath that 'AKTERST' which is a Swedish nautical term for Aftmost. The lens is engraved 11445 17-12-57, presumably the date it was either made or replaced. The second isn't as substantial but also carries a makers plate 'Seahorse GB Trademark 52789
