British Railways North Eastern Region 6 inch mahogany cased drum clock. The original dial shows BR(NE) 13201 and MADE IN ENGLAND. The mahogany drum case retains its original cast brass bezel and is also stamped on the back BR.NE 13201.The Smiths 7 day going barrel movement with platform escapement is in good working condition, but not tested for timekeeping. The LNER clock records show this clock as last being in use at York Establishment Staff Office Toft Green Chambers Welfare Officer (Women) Ladies Waiting Room. Comes complete with key and a copy of the clock record. Measures 8.5in diameter x 4in deep.
