Brass Victorian Crown Emblem believed to originate from one of the Royal Train Buffer Beam Lamps used in this era to decorate the Locomotive when employed on Royal duties. Measures 8 high and 8 at the widest point having a screw fitting threaded hole in the base. Original paintwork in stunning condition with the exception of a small loss to one 'leaf' on one of the fleur-de-lys. Acknowledged by the NRM at York but the original company not identified, this is an extremely rare and possibly unique find.
