Brass cabside numberplate NYASALAND RAILWAY 45 from a River Class Vulcan Foundry Cape Gauge Design 2-8-2 built by Henschel in 1953 as works number 28974. The locomotive was later owned by Malawi State Railways and was withdrawn by the mid 1970's. Oval cast brass, lightly face cleaned, measures 18in x 13in. A rare cabside.
