Diesel worksplate BRITISH RAILWAYS CREWE BUILT 1965 POWER EQUIPMENT BY BRUSH ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING COMPANY LTD AND SULZER ex BR diesel class 47 originally numbered D1968 then 47516 in 1973 and 47708 in 1979. It carried the names Waverley and Templecombe. Allocated new to 64B Haymarket and withdrawn from Crewe in and scrapped at Crewe works in 1995. Rectangular cast aluminium measures 13in x 6.5in. In as removed condition.
