London & North Western Railway electric lever frame. A section from the Crewe South Junction Webb & Thompson All Electric frame installed in 1907. After the LNWR's experimental installation in Gresty Lane box, this was the earliest electric power frame installed in the UK so is of some historical significance. Measures 40in wide x 52in tall x 18in deep and weighs approx 400kg. The successful buyer will need to arrange collection from near Bath and the vendor is happy to help with loading etc. There are also a substantial number of additional castings, all shotblasted but unrestored, which would assemble into a further nine-lever section of frame which will be sold with the complete frame.
