Ex Standard Gauge 0-6-0ST which was built by Manning Wardle as their No. 1365 in 1898. It originally worked for contractors H.M.Nowell and S.Pearson and Co. Ltd before going to the Ministry of Munitions at Darlington. In 1919 it was acquired by J.F.Wake, Dealers , of Darlington and was sold on to James Smith who owned an Ironworks at Hamworthy in Dorset. In about 1937 it moved to the British Sugar Corporations Factory at Sproughton just outside Ipswich and was scrapped there in 1952. £400

The LNER clock records show that the clock was in use at Barnard Castle East cabin Signal box, altogether a magnificent and rare clock. Complete with Pendulum and Key. Circa 1870 £

Brass construction standing 8.75 tall with clear lens and small red lens to side. An electric bulb fitting to the rear suggests this may have been a transitional design. The accompanying letter and copy of original Lucas Catalogue shows this to be a rear lamp, the clear lens to light the vehicle numberplate and the red to show the back of the vehicle. Stamped LMS 1766B it carries the standard King Of The Road makers plate showing Lamp Number 631 to the front and there is also an additional plate at the rear 1756 possibly added by the LMS. Complete with screw-out reservoir and burner. Acquired by the vendors Grandfather in the 1930s from Euston Goods. A most desirable lamp. £100

JOYCE WHITCHURCH 10613 and is in good condition, the case is also free from repairs and is in original condition and has an Brass numberplate fixed to it L.M.S. 10613. A very rare example of a Joyce clock and was used in the station at Bromsgrove, this was confirmed by the vendor who purchased it direct from the Station in the late 1960s when he worked for British Road Services who were based there, Bromsgrove is also lightly scratched on the movement backplate. The Midland Counties Railway (MCR) 1832 to 1844, connecting Nottingham, Leicester and Derby with Rugby and thence, via the London and Birmingham Railway, to London. The MCR system connected with the North Midland Railway and the Birmingham and Derby Junction Railway in Derby. Eventually absorbed into the Midland Railway. £800

Ex Standard Gauge Holden Class B12 4-6-0 built at Stratford in 1915 as Great Eastern Railway No. 1535. Under the LNER it was renumbered 8535 in January 1924 but in December 1942 became 7449 only to revert to its original number of 1535 in June 1946. In BR days it was renumbered 61535 in December 1948. Between May 1932 and October 1935 it was fitted with an ACFI feed water heater. From 1948 it spent time at Stratford and Ipswich but at the very end it went to Norwich in November 1959 and was Withdrawn from there in the following month being scrapped in January 1960 at Stratford Works. £500
